Compliance Manager - Hybrid - London
Our client are a Series B Insurtech that after having exceptional growth internationally, has recently moved into the UK market.
They are looking to make an experienced compliance hire for their growing UK-based team.
This will be their first UK compliance hire and will require someone with start-up / scale-up experience looking to roll up their sleeves, and be a part of a scaling insurtech.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of 1st-line compliance or other relevant experience in the financial services sector, ideally in insurance;
- a strong understanding of the FCA Handbook and Consumer Duty;
- experience in a fast-growth start-up or scale-up will be beneficial;
- the ability to create plans, prioritise, and then roll up your sleeves and get things done;
- a “no excuses” attitude to delivering great experiences for our customers and our partners, and taking ownership when you see a problem that needs fixing;
- excitement to learn new things and challenge yourself when faced with complex problems;
- to be very organised and able to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced scale-up environment;
- strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills;
- proven ability to work effectively with data, ideally with modern data tools like Snowflake; and
