As an Account Manager with extensive expertise in multinational insurance, you will manage a portfolio of key Technology clients, either based in or operating across the United States.
This role uniquely blends traditional broking duties with partner relationship management and internal insurance oversight. You will coordinate policy servicing with an Australian counterpart, directly interfacing with the clients’ internal systems and teams, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring service levels are met.
You will also support the annual marketing and placement process by working with a small team to facilitate information gathering and co-ordination of international placement partners.
This position calls for a detail-oriented and highly structured professional who demonstrates the agility to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels. With a passion for the technology sector, you will understand the challenges faced by these industries and the value we can add by reducing risk.
You handle both strategy and details and succeed by actively meeting clients’ service and support needs no matter how big or small.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- As an Account Manager, you will help us deliver modern client experiences by:
- Managing all aspects of a of the clients portfolio including identifying, designing, and negotiating appropriate insurance solutions.
- Collaborate closely with your Australian counterpart to provide consistent, high-quality service to clients including seamless handover across time zones.
- Acting as an in-house insurance manager for select clients, interfacing directly with their internal teams and systems and managing in-house enquires and requests as directed.
- Being responsible for multinational placements for accounts through international placement partners.
- Ensuring all day-to-day enquiries are being dealt with in a professional and thorough way, in line with service level expectations.
- Delivering documentation to clients, insurers, and others, ensuring that it is accurate and on time every time.
- Conduct regular reviews and alignment sessions with key placement partners and to ensure seamless delivery and maintenance of high-performance standards and delivery of reverse-flow.
- Provide council and advice to clients on their insurance policies including the risk coverage, benefit and premiums.
- Establish consistent meeting schedules with the client to review progress, provide delivery updates, and maintain an ongoing feedback loop.
- Deliver regular reporting to the client and business as requested from time to time.
- Looking for opportunities to expand revenue and growth.
- Maintaining accurate, up to date information and documentation in all relevant systems.
- Proactively participate in knowledge sharing enabling the team to grow and be inspired.
- Collaborating with the team around identifying process improvements and solutions.
- Continuously broaden knowledge of insurance products and how to best place them with client’s exposures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in a similar role with a comprehensive understanding of insurance broking
- Experience with reserve-flow programmes.
- Ability to build strong relationships with global broker partners.
- Strong knowledge of local market practices and compliance.
- Skilled in effective communication with brokers, clients, insurers and other stakeholders.
- Insurance broker license
- Experience using ticketing system such as Jira.
- Proficient with programs, such as MS Office, MS Teams, Slack and agency management systems.
