Our client, a venture-backed AI-based insurtech and digital MGA, is seeking a VP of Product to shape product strategy and drive innovation, bringing to life current and future products, services, and experiences. Requires broad industry expertise in both B2B and B2C environments, strong team collaboration, and the ability to align and execute the Product vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of four product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure cohesive product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Employ strong influence and negotiation skills to align diverse teams and stakeholders around common goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating product plans and addressing concerns.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of PM experience in SaaS, fintech, or Insurtech, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience leading Senior Product Managers/Product Managers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience creating product strategy and roadmaps.
  • Experience leading feature and business planning and launch of new products.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in team building and mentoring.
  • High EQ, adept at managing relationships, conflicts, and navigating organizational dynamics.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and product management tools
