Our client is a growing MGA who following their success in the US and the UK markets are expanding throughout Europe.
We are seeking an assistant underwriter to join their team in Germany and support their growth within the region.
Responsibilities
- Support a profitable portfolio focused on providing Cyber Liability Coverage.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist in the underwriting process, including data analysis and risk assessment to achieve organizational goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims, and security operations.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in an Insurance operational/underwriting role focusing on internal and external customer service, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results
- Fluency in German, and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong interest in technology and cyber risk and its evolving landscape.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
